Raleigh Denim
Raleigh Denim is a denim company located in Raleigh, North Carolina headed by Victor Lytvinenko and Sarah Yarborough. The line is produced entirely in the USA and uses its community in North Carolina to manufacture and produce the denim from seed to production. The two even collaborated with Cotton of the Carolinas to grow the first crop of certified organic cotton ever to be grown in North Carolina.
When Lytvinenko was living in Switzerland, he witnessed his host grandmother in possession of a $450 Swiss Army Knife. After he confronted her on the high price of the knife, she responded with a lesson on how Americans will spend $20 replacing many knives and never own a good one. With this advice in mind, Lytvinenko and Yarborough created Raleigh Denim keeping the quality over quanitity argument of his host grandmother in mind.
Their goal in production is to "help revitilize the garment industry of North Carolina."
