 Edith A. Miller

Run by two very fashionable and eco-savvy females, Nancy Gibson and Jennifer Murray, Edith A. Miller was established after the two reunited at a party wearing a striped shirt made by the same designer. As they started talking, they realized they both shared a mutual adoration for the fit and material of the shirt so they tracked down the family-run 150-year-old mill it was created in and started planning a business of their own using the mill for production.

The line consists mostly of soft, striped t-shirts similar to the original and can be found at many major retailers including Barney's, SHOPBOP, and J Crew.

  • The majority of the manufacturing and production is done in the Mohnton Knitting Mills in Reading, Pennsylvania.  If the piece is more complex, however, a producer in the Garment District of New York City will handle the production.
