Amour Vert
From the beginning to the completion of a garment, Amour Vert keeps the eco-system in mind every step of the way. Despite their lack of background in the fashion industry, Linda Balti, former fighter-jet simulator developer, and Christoph Frehsee, former land-mine-clearing machinery producer, saw a need for an affordable fashion brand that created minimal waste and started Amour Vert.
The brand is already being sold at Bloomingdales and has even collaborated with Gwyneth Paltrow's blog, Goop.
-
Amour Vert creates custom fabrics with signature blends of recycled polyester, wood fibers, and organic cotton using a Los Angeles mill.
-
Fabric cutting is done in Oakland, CA utilizing every piece
-
For transportation, Amour Vert takes advantage of a trucking company with an empty truck bed on the way back from its deliveries across the California state
-
The brand plants a tree for every t-shirt that's sold
"Our message and momentum is undeniable: Every garment for a cleaner world."
